Our Story…
It started with one limping dog on Alameda Street.
In 2013, our founder spotted a small grey dog limping down the side of Alameda Street in Downtown LA. She got out of the car, whistled and the little matted dog hopped right into her arms.
She was malnourished, had a broken leg, and was so incredibly grateful just to be held. A few weeks of care later, she found her perfect forever home.
That one moment turned into over a decade of rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters across Southern California. We're volunteer-run, foster-based, and completely obsessed with making sure every dog gets a life as full as the one they were always meant to have
